Many small businesses that lack the volume to assume bulk rates or outsourcing still require more sophistication than stamps. ClickStamp Online from Pitney Bowes allows the management and printing of postage via online and installed software.
The system works as follows: Businesses register an account for $4.99 a month at pitneyworks.com and prepay for postage as needed. Using an installed software, postage and destination mailing address are printed directly onto mail itself or otherwise onto large labels. When the account is low or out of postage, users can replenish the account by purchasing via the ClickStamp online software.
Most mailings are possible using this system such as oversized envelopes and packages, and all types of mail can be sent including First-Class Mail, Priority Mail, Express Mail and Parcel Post. Addresses can be imported from ACT!, MS Outlook and a few other commercial applications.
