Use product sampling service to win new customers
|
Seven steps of Sampling:
- Needs assessment
An exploratory process to establish program goals.
- Custom tracking portal
Each client is given a complimentary portal, allowing image file transfers, proofing, inventory review, evaluation of mail log reports, and management of key date reports - all online.
- Creative Concepting
The design of mailing or distribution pieces to achieve maximum effectiveness and maintain budgetary efficiencies.
- Sampling creation/sourcing
Solar Communications will source the actual creation of the sample itself, or a brand marketer can submit their own. Either way, Solar Communications will store the sample while it prepares for assembly.
- Printing
Solar Communications will print the components necessary for a successful campaign: coupons, informational inserts, carrier cards, promotional incentives, etc.
- Packaging/Tipping/Overwrapping
Solar Communications offers a multitude of options such as affixing three dimensional samples to a mail carrier, overwrapping, boxing, etc.
- Mailing/Distribution
After printing and assembling of a sample piece, Solar Communications will conduct the mailing or distribute samples to intended destinations, i.e., if the samples are being produced to be part of a co-op, or if they are event related and need to be drop-shipped.

Solar Communications, based out of Naperville, IL., a multi-national marketing solutions provider of printing, packaging, mailing and fulfillment services, has announced Sampling Made Easy, a simple seven-step process designed to drive consumer trial and loyalty, while keeping a sampling program on time, on budget and under one roof.
“The success of a sampling program depends on the careful implementation of many variables often forcing brand marketers to rely on multiple vendors” comments Frank C. Hudetz, president and CEO, Solar Communications. “By combining all components into a single source - Sampling Made Easy gives brand marketers less to worry about, reduces costs associated with shipping to multiple vendors and saves time.”
Solar Communications is GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certified, meaning that samples are stored in a climate controlled environment, and processed using lot control. Additionally, Solar Communications meets all cleanliness standards prescribed by the AIB (American Institute of Baking) and has over 50,000 square feet of climate controlled warehouse space.
