Zebra introduces the TR 220, all-in-one terminal with pistol grip
|
Zebra Technologies, a global leader in delivering printing solutions for business improvement, now offers handheld terminal users a straightforward and quicker way to scan and print labels, tags, and receipts in retail stores, hospitals, warehouses, delivery trucks, and other fast-paced environments.
To maximize field and office capability, the TR 220 connects to Symbol® Portable Data Terminals (PDTs) such as those that run the PalmOS platform, allowing for easy access to business data and applications, organizing information in a simple, expandable and mobile fashion.

The TR 220 is Zebra’s 2-inch (48 mm) wide mobile printer module, which snaps together with a handheld data terminal to deliver an all-in-one solution. The direct thermal printer unit eliminates the need for cables and printer-specific radios, while adding the ergonomic convenience of a scanning trigger with its pistol grip, developed to fit the user’s hand comfortably, without strain.
Zebra’s TR 220 provides user comfort and flexibility for a wide range of mobile on-demand applications, including shelf labeling, receipt printing, ticketing, and specimen labeling.
